The Department recognizes the importance of providing timely and accurate information related to economic surveys, statistical reports, development indicators, and official publications, while respecting exemptions provided under the Act where necessary.To ensure effective implementation of the Act, the Department has designated Public Information Officers (PIOs) and First Appellate Authorities in accordance with statutory requirements. 2. RTI Application Procedure

Citizens seeking information under the Right to Information Act, 2005 may submit an application addressed to the Public Information Officer of the Department of Economics and Statistics, Himachal Pradesh.
